July long weekend is fast approaching and if you're not planning your little one's first patriotic celebration (whether Canada - July 1, or USA - July 4).... then you're planning pool parties, weekends at the cottage, midday playdates, picnics and other fun stuff that fully enjoys the outdoor bliss of summer. For a lot of us, these next few weeks are perhaps reminiscent of parades, carnivals, festivals, face paintings, air and maritime shows, fireworks, and free musical concerts. It brings with it that tingly feeling of patriotism and a chance to become a history expert … for 10 minutes … via google. ;)
